Auditory Relation:   Pearl Jam – Rearview Mirror (Greatest Hits)

Duration: End of March / Early April

Location: http://www.brenlo.ca

What We Did: Took the existing consumer site and added the ability to pull gallery images, stock listings, and download catalogues from a database.  Also built a user registration and login system to facilitate better customer relationship management for catalogue downloads.

We also build an administration portal that allows Brenlo Admins to print reports / upload new gallery images and catalogues, and edit current stock listings for rough lumber stock listings.

We were approached by Judy Wood from JWood Creative Consulting in March to help her with the back end development and aide in programming for the updated Brenlo.ca website.  Brenlo is a custom wood moulding company that provides wood products for the commercial and residential builder, architects and designers.

Judy Wood has had a long relationship with Brenlo and handles all their marketing and promotion functions but she required a company like ours to help her architect and produce the database, admin portal and wire up their consumer flash site to utilize these new systems.  We were more than happy to help out and the end result is an easy to maintain consumer website and an admin portal that allows the Brenlo sales team to print reports of registered users and the catalogues they downloaded.  This provides the sales team with some much needed information on their customers and what they are looking for.

Example of the report
above is an example of the report viewewd from the web- ability to export to PDF or Excel is illustrated.

The portal is built in ASP.NET using AJAX, it relies on a SQL Server 2005 database and the front end site is Flash (Actionscript 2.0) with several class files and that is wrapped in an ASP.NET website that serves up xml based datasets from the database.
